Karen Elson has just released her debut album entitled the ghost who walks. Rather befittingly as the album truly is hauntingly beautiful. I would love to be able to sing like this woman!
She is actually the wife of The White Stripes' Jack White, as well as a former model (she modelled for Marc Jacobs whilst pregnant! <3). However she writes all her own stuff. Many of the youtube comments attribute her amazing talent to Jack. Which of course is ridiculous because although he is a little bit maybe kind of God he still cant give someone a voice like this! (Yet. Maybe when his secret muso powers have gotten stronger??)
